In 1984, TA Triumph-Adler released its first compact electronic typewriter, the Gabriele 9009. The same typewriter was sold as the Royal Satellite III (in the USA). An SE 300 series of compact electronic typewriters followed and the SE 310 is an upgrade on the Gabriele 9009 and has the same top speed of 13 cps. Subsequent models (SE 320, SE 305, 315, 325) in the series offer fast bidirectional printing at a speed of 18 cps.
