Body of Lies (NC16/Some Violence)

Operations from one location to the next is what makes up the jittery vocation of Roger Ferris (Leonardo DiCaprio). Obeying orders from the other end of line, Ferris is taken to places from the Middle East to Washington, all due to real time instruction from CIA veteran Ed Hoffman (Russell Crowe).

Achieving the ability to avoid the largest network in the world is an emerging terrorist leader, who orchestrated a series of bombings which alarmed the various localities. In order to pin down his target, Ferris realizes that the way to hold on to life is not pure integrity, but trust which can cuts both ways. However, he stays calm in the face of trouble and moves on with that commodity to the next call.

Comments on ‘Body of Lies’:

Popcorn I’d give: 3
“The movie takes on a heavy after-effect but I like it cos’ it’s very real and provides us with elaborate detail what’s happening on the other side of the world…that which many a times we’re unaware of due to ignorance or distance. I almost did not recognize Leonardo DiCaprio though, but his accent and fluency in Arabic is commendable!”

“This movie shows the reality of what the world is facing now. I don’t really like the slow pace of the movie but definitely all thumbs up for Leonardo DiCaprio’s acting!”

“I like Russell Crowe! Though I dont really like his character in the show, but such people really do exist! And I really think people who fight in the name of God really breaks God’s heart! Say No to Terrorist.”
